A 58LB transformation… Truly amazing!

I started competing in bodybuilding in 2004. I competed in 2004 and also in 2006. For both competitions I did my own diet and struggled with getting completely dialed in both times. I have known Kevin and Jennifer for about 10 years now and have nothing but respect for both of them.

In 2009 I started my own diet and once again got very little results. I have seen Kevin compete year after year and have always been amazed on the results in conditioning that he shows. So I decided to give him a call to see if he could help. Kevin met with me the very next day and we both decided that i should have been dieting long before i started and that i wasn’t going to be ready in time for the competition i was aiming for. I’m really glad he gave me that advice because i was struggling with a partially torn tendon in my left shoulder and would have made it worse if i would have kept on training. So i went to a surgeon who specialized in arthroscopic shoulder surgeries and sure enough had to have my shoulder repaired. good times! At that time Kevin coached me through the off-season
and advised me to contact him at the end of the year to get a diet plan in place for the 2010 NPC Indianapolis.

I started kevin’s diet on january 4th weighing in at 237 lbs. I had never done a diet like his so i was extremely excited to get going on it. Within the first 3 weeks i lost 15 LBS. and was immediately sold on his work. There were a few weeks closing in on the competition where i was starting to plateau and i was getting nervous that i wasn’t going to make it in time. Kevin told me to keep doing exactly what i was doing and don’t stress about a thing. So i played follow the leader and did just that. One of my favorite things about working with Kevin is he took a great deal of time to show all of the his competitors the proper way to pose which was also something i had struggle with in my past competitions. He made sure that when we all stepped on to that stage our posing was hands down better than everybody and in my honest opinion…it sure was.

I came into this competition with no goals except to be in the best shape of my life and to be as conditioned as i possibly could of on that day. I started my diet weighing in at 237LBS and stepped onto that stage weighing 179LBS. A 58LB transformation..Truly amazing!

I want to give thanks to Kevin and Jennifer for all of their help throughout this journey. I look forward to competing again in 2012 for the Stewart Fitness Bodybuilding Team. Good luck in all you do and keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Zach Farrell
