With this change in my body, it has also promoted healthy dieting and the desire to stay in shape!

I have been an extremely active person for much of my life. Being involved in competitive sports forced me to maintain a physically fit body and healthy lifestyle. Even throughout college at DePauw University, I played varsity soccer all four years of my schooling, which demanded me to stay at my peak physical and mental fitness in order to successfully compete at this high level. Following my final season and the consequent ending of my soccer career my senior year, I found myself without any obligations of staying in shape. Without this obligation, my motivation for working out and staying in shape quickly spiraled down. Soon I was on a risky regiment of not working out, eating foods with little or no nutritional value, and overall living an unhealthy lifestyle. Following my college graduation I found that I had gained unnecessary weight and had developed unhealthy habits of living constantly in bad condition.

I decided to find an athletic trainer to help combat this unhealthy living I had fallen into, but finding an athletic trainer for what I wanted proved to more difficult than imagined. I was finally led to Kevin Stewart who allowed me a preliminary workout session, after we had talked about what I wanted to accomplish. I explained to him that I was looking for a workout with high motivation, high energy, that focused on building lean muscle mass with core development. And after the first session, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I worked out with Kevin for the next three-four weeks, twice a week, for half-an-hour sessions. In all of my workout routines, I did not repeat one exercise because we focused on muscle confusion using free-weights supplemented with core and balance exercises. Every workout was high-energy; fast-paced that pushed me beyond my limits. From the first week I began to notice differences in my body. Over the next few weeks after hitting tires, ropes, and ladders I have noticed an impressive change in my body. I now see the physical shape that I had playing soccer in college. With this change in my body, it has also promoted healthy dieting and the desire to stay in shape. I look forward to continuing the fitness knowledge I learned with Kevin as I again approach my peak fitness levels.

Sincerely,
